Ever been to Benihana and enjoyed the show but wished the quality of the meat was better? Well Kingswood Teppan Steak House offers an entertaining show and delicious food. The restaurant is actually divided into two sides: one side for hot pot only and the other for teppanyaki. I've only had the teppanyaki here and enjoyed my meal every time.

The menu offers an assortment of protein options to choose from. Every protein option is amazing- with my favorites being the sliced beef w/ black pepper sauce, fish, and scallops. Every teppan meal comes with a small salad (choice of ginger or thousand island dressing), simple onion mushroom broth, rice, an assortment of grilled veggies, and a small dessert drink. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading the rice to their fried rice.

If you're craving more for dessert, the Teppan Special Banana is a great choice - crispy battered banana. Meals here are definitely a bit pricey, but it's a great place eat delicious food right after you see it cooked.

My family and I have been coming here for years! The quality of the food just gets better. The cooks are extremely friendly especially Andy. They are generous with their servings and really care about how you like your food. I definitely recommend coming here with a group of family/friends!

This is one of my favorite places for teppanyaki.  Kingswood has been around for probably more than 10-15 years.  Meat quality is very good.  I tend to order the sliced beef meals rather than steaks.  I also love its fried rice with lots of onion and garlic.  Anything from the menu, including seafood and drinks, is pretty solid and tasty. The chefs are always friendly and put up a good "show" as in Benihana.  People inevitably compare it to Benihana.  I think it's taste caters more toward Asian and is more "authentic" if you're looking for Taiwanese style teppanyaki.  However, it's quality is no comparison to the teppanyaki restaurants in Japan or Taiwan.   Prices are reasonable, and service is good.  Be prepared to wait during weekend dining hours.   The  only downside is parking.  Due to the popularity of the various shops and restaurants in the plaza, it's very hard to find available parking space during meal hours.

My mom wanted to try this place for her birthday, so we came on a Sunday night. It's located in a busy plaza and parking can be almost impossible sometimes. Tip: You can park at the supermarket parking lot across the street if you don't want to circle around forever.

The food was ok, nothing special in my opinion, with teppanyaki it's always about the chef entertaining you while he cooks and you eat, and chef Andy definitely kept my mom entertained! He was funny and chatted with my mom all throughout the meal until he was done cooking. I got the steak and chicken dinner, comes with white rice, soup, salad and small dessert. No one in my family wanted fried rice, but supposedly their fried rice is a must... so I guess I'll try it next time!

Service was slow and minimal. Was going to give it only 3 stars but bumped it to four because I mentioned to one of the male waiters that it was my mom's birthday, and he remembered and brought a complimentary fried banana cake with a happy birthday on and a candle and my mom was happy.

Love coming to this place! Way better than any other teppan place and great affordable prices.
